Change is coming! Davis will soon implement new standards for Facilitator websites consistent with our transition to new branding and messaging.
Davis trademarks may be used in web site text only if the site complies with the requirements detailed here. It is the responsiblity of licensed Davis Facilitators to make sure that their employers understand and comply with DDAI restrictions on trademark use.
When referring to a word or phrase that has been registered as a Davis trademark, the registration mark ® must be shown with the first or primary use of the term on the page, unless that page contains the full Davis trademark notice described above.
In many countries, the term ‘Davis” alone has been established as a registered trademark. In these countries, the ® mark should appear immediately after the word Davis. For example:
- Davis®
- Davis® methods
- Davis® Dyslexia Correction
- Davis® Symbol Mastery
In countries where the name “Davis” has not been registered, the ® mark at the end of any phrase which has been registered. For example:
- Davis Dyslexia Correction®
- Davis Orientation Counseling®
- Davis Symbol Mastery®
In some countries, neither the term “Davis” nor a specific phrase has been registered. In that case, a Service Mark (SM) or Trademark ™ should be used in lieu of registration mark.
Please refer to the Trademark Use Chart to determine which marks apply in your country.
