We require that web sites must be coded in a text-based format, so that most text other than navigational links or displays is in HTML or XHTML format. We recommend that every site include text-based navigation links as well, although such text can be provided in addition to or as an alternative to graphics-based navigational arrays.
Site design software that converts all text to images for display, such as sites designed with Microsoft Publisher or Apple iWeb (used with MobileMe), ordinarily will not be approved. Please keep in mind that search engines cannot read images, and that many people who need help for dyslexia rely on screen-reading software to browse the web.
Web sites designed in Adobe Flash may not be accessible to many viewers; many popular devices such as the iPhone and iPad do not currently support Flash. We suggest that when Flash content is used, that a text-based or standard HTML alternative also be provided, accessible either by a link from the home page or through site coding that will deliver appropriate content to the user.

We may test your site for display on any browser that consistently shows 10% or more usage as of the time your site is submitted for review:
