Change is coming! Davis will soon implement new standards for Facilitator websites consistent with our transition to new branding and messaging.
- The site must clearly identify the Davis program as being Davis. That is, the Davis program cannot be given a different label, such as the Facilitator’s business name. Any web site which describes specific aspects of a Davis program or has images that clearly depict a Davis program (such as a client with a clay alphabet) should also clearly reference the program depicted as being “Davis”.
- The site must accurately identify at least one licensed Davis Facilitator, and provide full name, geographical location, and ‘real world’ contact information, such as a telephone number and a physical or postal mailing address, as well as an email address or on-line contact form. This information should be in a location such as home page, an “about the facilitator” page, or a “contact” page.
- The site must accurately identify the names of the licensed Davis provider(s) available to work with clients. If the site is owned by a single provider, then it must accurately reflect that there is only one Davis Facilitator on staff. If the site lists staff members or affiliates other than licensed Davis providers, the site must clearly describe which individuals are licensed to provide the Davis program, and use job titles or descriptions that clearly differentiate the roles of other staff members.
- You should refer to separate Davis programs by the titles or phrases approved and in use by DDAI, or a near translation; examples:
- Davis Dyslexia Correction
- Davis Math Mastery
- Davis Attention Mastery
- Davis Reading Program for Young Learners
- Davis Orientation Counseling
- Davis Symbol Mastery
Please refer to the current trademark use chart for correct placement of ® or ™ symbols within titles reflected above.
