One Place for Special Needs provides an opportunity for US providers to list your services under “local resources”, and your events for free, using a data entry form that you can edit and change on your own. Visitors to the site will see listings for a radius approximately 100 miles determined by zip code.

The One Place site displays summary listing information, but charges its visits to display detailed information including contact information. However, for $99 per year, you can purchase a featured listing — this will allow site users to see full details of your listing without charge, and will also allow your listing to be viewed state wide, beyond the normal 100 mile radius for listings.

One Place also has a monthly e-newsletter which announces specific events within a geographical region. Events that you post will be included in their emails without charge, but as with the resource listings, you can opt to purchase featured listings which provide additional benefits.

One Place also allows you to post “online resources” for free – this is a good way to promote your web site or blog. These resources are available for all visitors to the site.
