Facilitator blog sites

  Site Content & Design

If you create a business/practice focused blog which refers to Davis trademarks or your status as a licensed Facilitator while blogging, please follow these guidelines:

  1. Please let us know about your blog by writing to webmaster@dyslexia.com
  2. If you have an “about us” page or other permanent area of your blog referencing your status as a Davis Facilitator, please include the Davis trademark notice and a link to www.dyslexia.com. If your blog is devoted exclusively to your Davis practice, it is best to place the trademark notice in a footer so that it will appear automatically on each page.
  3. You do not need prior approval from DDAI to post to your blog, but you should be ready to promptly correct or remove material if DDAI or your DDA affiliate notifies you of any problems or issues.
  4. As you develop your blog, consider whether you will allow comments to your blog and what moderation policy you will follow.
    • It is probably best to start by moderating all comments — this means that nothing will appear online until you have approved it. This is good protection from spammers and others who might deliberately post inappropriate material, such as insulting language or links to commercial or pornographic web sites.
    • DDAI does not require you to moderate your posts — though again, we may ask you to remove inappropriate comments. (Note: “inappropriate” would generally mean comments that are clearly false or use abusive or offensive language — we do not expect or want you to censor all negative comments or criticism.)
